Snowbound is constantly working to enhance its suite of powerful document viewing and conversion solutions. In this new blog series, we’ll preview forthcoming enhancements that we are excited for our customers to experience.

We are very excited to preview our VirtualViewer HTML5 4.7 release (set to release in early April) with a set of widely requested product features. We anticipate many of our customers will really benefit from these new capabilities:

Split Screen View – The viewer will now provide the user with the ability to simultaneously view two documents on the screen for document comparison or to display data in one view and annotate in the other document view.

DWG Layer and xref Support – This feature dramatically improves the utility of the viewer when managing CAD documents because individual layers can be selected for viewing. Externally referenced files can now also be displayed along with the CAD file.

PDF Extract and Append improvement – 10x+ boost in processing speed when extracting pages for building a new document from large, multi-page PDF documents. A really great feature for users with very large multi-page PDFs.
