Enterprise content management firm SpringCM, which provides on-demand document management and workflow solutions, released this week the newest version of its SaaS-based ECM platform.
The firm, which provides ECM solutions for Comcast and Avon, rolled out 36 new or enhanced features, most of which centered upon improving management visibility into content processes, as well as a better integration of SpringCM applications into partners” systems.
New developments include custom dashboards, solution packaging and PDF handling and viewing.
"Our dashboard enhancements enable end users and managers to make more effective business decisions, while solutions packaging makes it easier than ever to share best practices with or between organizations," said Dan Carmel, CEO of SpringCM. "Together the enhancements enable a new level of capability and management for content centric applications."
The latest version also includes enhancements to compliance (through auditable user access justification), the user creation process, Document Rules, workflow enrichment, back-end and database performance, preview pages, and the user interface.
With partners such as Clickability, Harding Group, Conversion Technologies, StylusAP, US Archive & Imaging Services and Waypoint, SpringCM was the first SaaS platform to allow other companies to develop content-centric applications on its platform for use across different enterprise workgroups.
