Workers are able to access content management systems from smartphones, which allows employees to be more productive.
The new generation of the ECM platform improves engagement and delivery of customer services and application consistency.
“ECM-as-a-Service platforms means large organizations can design, build and deploy content applications for all of their key employees – not only those tied to traditional desktop PCs and office suites,” writes Cheryl McKinnon.
According to research by Gartner, the worldwide ERP software – which allows companies to be more flexible with their operations – is expected to reach $253.7 billion in revenue for 2011, up 7.5 percent compared to 2010.
