by | Apr 20, 2010

LP AG, a major financial services and wealth management consulting company in Germany, recently expanded its use of the Open Text ECM Suite with customer information management capabilities and self-service portals for its 4,000 global users.Enterprises exploring how to integrate enterprise resource planning software with enterprise content management software may find success with Open Text”s ECM offering.

Open Text ECM Suite was recently integrated into the network of MLP AG, a company that provides wealth management consultant services in Germany. The move will help MLP meet growing compliance requirements for document archiving.

The enhancements allow MLP”s users to retain their family work environments, usually the SAP GUI or SAP Enterprise Portal, while at the same time expanding its use of customer information management capabilities and self-service portals for its 4,000 users, including financial advisors and clients across the globe.

MLP CIO Klaus Strumberger says that the integration will further improve the company”s efficiency and cut costs.

"Due to the fact that our processes are mostly digital, we can reproduce and document them in all sections," Strumberger says. "Using the exact same infrastructure, we can fully meet the requirements of multiple regulatory agencies without a great deal of time or effort."

The Open Text platform has been in use at MLP since 1997. The company had the intention of adding to the platform over time while maintaining tight integration with its SAP systems.ADNFCR-1861-ID-19732428-ADNFCR
