EMC’s enterprise content management solutions have helped businesses operating in all types of industries improve operations and storage capacity. The vendor recently announced that Blank Rome, one of America’s largest law firms, adopted the VNX unified storage, Avamar and RecoverPoint systems to upgrade its IT infrastructure.
Since implementing the lineup of solutions, the vendor said, Blank Rome has saved millions of dollars in hardware and maintenance costs, while lowering energy spending by 30 percent. The firm has also improved storage requirements by 60 percent and capacity by 40 percent.
“EMC makes it easy and affordable for just one person to manage a state-of-the-art data center,” Blank Rome Chief Network Architect Frank Gurfolino said. “EMC VNX is so simple to use that even with just one person managing the firm’s virtual infrastructure, we can provide our clients with the best possible service while continuing to innovate.”
EMC’s storage solutions have garnered industry-wide praise. The vendor announced in June that market research firm IDC named it the No. 1 storage provider in its Storage Users Demand Study, which polled more than 1,000 organizations in 15 countries.
