IBM furthers FileNet functionality for finance firms

Finance organizations have been told of new functionality added to FileNet by IBMIBM has announced new functionality has been added to FileNet to enable financial services providers to use it when administrating their loans.

Two new elements have been introduced for lenders to make use of, comprising an electronic loan file solution and an improved loan origination system.

Meanwhile, the use of a document viewer at the point of sale may help to close deals, as IBM reports it now supplies browser-based materials to assist in the sales process.

Eric Ray, general manager for financial services solutions at IBM”s managed business process services division, comments on the release.

"IBM”s enhanced and expanded portfolio gives our lender clients a diverse set of solutions to address their specific business needs in this turbulent market," he asserts.

The use of a document viewer may also play a role in online sales, as IBM adds that it is providing web-based portal material to supply information to both brokers and clients.

The company explains that this integrates into the overall FileNet platform and allows access to billions of documents for thousands of users at a time.ADNFCR-1861-ID-18843454-ADNFCR
