Document management company Xerox recently announced it has been positioned as a "visionary" in the enterprise content management market in the most recent Magic Quadrant report by research firm Gartner.
Supported by its ECM suite Xerox DocuShare, the company claims it is able to help businesses improve productivity.
"We believe Xerox's position in the Gartner report reflects our commitment to provide the technologies and services our clients need to manage documents and data effectively, so they can concentrate on their core competencies," said Stephen Cronin, Xerox president of global document outsourcing.
In addition to DocuShare, Xerox also offers services from Affiliated Computer Services, which it acquired in September 2009. ACS provides business process outsourcing services for companies in a number of industries, including information technology, finance, human resources and customer care.
Content management magazine KMWorld also recently named Xerox's DocuShare one of the "Trend Setting Products of 2010," Xerox noted.
Gartner's Magic Quadrant report provides a general overview of a market's direction and its participants. In the most recent report, the research firm labels EMC, Microsoft, IBM, Open Text, Oracle and Hyland Software as leaders in the ECM market.
