Enterprise project management vendor EPM Live recently rolled out a new add-on to its WorkEngine platform designed to simplify email management by synchronizing Microsoft's Outlook and SharePoint.
According to EPM Live, its new Outlook Publisher converts email content into items in SharePoint and accessed by WorkEngine users, increasing efficiency and improving communication between teams.
In addition to enhanced configuration tools, Outlook Publisher's integrated ribbon controls enables users to create list items in Outlook that will also appear in SharePoint.
Additionally, the add-on's email threading and monitoring feature automatically tracks ID, date and time information for items created in Outlook. Updates are appended to the list item.
EPM Live claims its Outlook Publisher add-on is compatible with any work item in SharePoint, including help desk tickets, IT requests, task lists, action items and work requests.
