Enterprise content management integration developer EntropySoft released a new connector for Documentum DFC designed for easier access to content through web-based services.
The new Documentum DFS connector grants users read or write access to content stored in Documentum repositories, allows customers to search for documents and covers most underlying software features. The connector also includes EntropySoft”s new track repository changes feature, which allows users to track changes to repositories and delivers lists of added, deleted and updated documents.
"This new connector is part of the latest release of our connectors” portfolio which includes significant improvements across all our connector line of products," said EntropySoft co-founder and chief technical officer Raphael Jean.
Developers said they designed this connector to be particularly easy to deploy on the client side by sidestepping any need to go across firewalls. This Documentum DFS connector is one of two connectors for Documentum currently offered by EntropySoft.
EntropySoft is a content integration company founded in 2002 and based in Paris. Its products are designed to help software venders connect their enterprise content management software to solutions offered by other venders.
