Enterprise content integration developer EntropySoft announced a new EMC Documentum CenterStage connector Monday that expands the enterprise content management solution”s search, e-discovery, records management connectivity and transfer functions.
The connector allows users to create and modify all collaborative objects on CenterStage, including spaces, files, folders, sections, wikis, pages, and blogs. It also tracks changes in repositories, and delivers lists of added, updated and deleted documents.
"By having a working CenterStage connector before the general availability date of the software, EntropySoft is reassuring the market as regards CenterStage interoperability and connectivity," said EntropySoft co-founder and chief executive Nicolas Maquaire.
The new enterprise content management connector tracks all changes to permissions, content and metadata on an immediate basis. Developers said this allows firms to get an accurate view of their content so that they can take timely action to minimize risk of data loss and ensure regulatory compliance.
Entropysoft is an enterprise content integration software developer based in Paris and founded in 2002. Its solutions are designed to facilitate content access and increase the ease of data interoperability. The company won the best French startup prize in 2006.
