EMC Corporation recently announced new solutions, technologies and tools that are integrated with Microsoft applications and technology.
According to the company, the new solutions provide companies of all sizes with the ability to enhance their management of virtualized Microsoft applications and Windows environments, including virtualized Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SharePoint Server.
Organizations utilizing the new solutions will increase their IT efficiency and business agility. Also, new storage management options for virtualized Microsoft environments enhance functionality, and help them confidently meet service level agreements for scalability, performance and availability, the company stated.
“To fully maximize the benefits of virtualizing Microsoft environments … and get one step closer to achieving a cloud model for maximum efficiency and business agility, EMC has combined its deep knowledge of Microsoft technologies,” said EMC’s senior vice president of Solutions Prasad Rampalli.
Microsoft recently announced its third quarter earnings report and continues to increase profits, generating more than $5.2 billion in revenue. A major reason for its increased revenue is its SharePoint software, which increased 11 percent, as companies continue to utilize its collaboration capabilities.
