Creating content for websites has become a crucial part of any online marketing campaign and a new integration between Quark and EMC”s Documentum has made it much easier.
Earlier this month, Quark announced that its Quark XML Author is now integrated with EMC”s enterprise content management solution Documentum to allow users to create XML content in Microsoft Word.
The company says that the new integration will make things much easier for those unfamiliar with XML as anyone who can use Word can create XML content – removing timely and potentially costly training.
Jeroen Van Rotterdam, general manager of XML Solutions in the Content Management and Archiving Division at EMC, says that the new solution will give organizations a much easier way to create online content while marrying it with a platform almost everyone is familiar with.
"Organizations without an XML authoring solution are missing huge opportunities to create intelligent content that can lead to significant efficiency improvements in content driven applications," he said. "The seamless integration between Quark XML Author for Microsoft Word and Documentum provides customers a unique solution for creating and managing XML today based on Microsoft Word, the most desired end-user interface."
In addition, the company says the new solution complies with regulatory mandates like Federal Drug Administration”s Structured Product Labeling standard.
