IOCA Image Conversion and Viewers

Snowbound Software offers powerful support for IBM’s Image Plus formats including PTOCA and IOCA elements of MO:DCA.  The MO:DCA format is most commonly used by government agencies, banking, finance and insurance companies to archive standard forms and other records.

Viewing and Conversion

• Our RasterMaster imaging SDK allows you to build viewing, conversion and over 140 other expert imaging functions securely into your custom applications to support IOCA files.
• Our powerful VirtualViewer document and image web viewer enables you to view, convert, manipulate, annotate, and print IOCA files through a standard Web browser. Because VirtualViewer is developed from our robust Java imaging SDK, it supports all of the file formats offered in our Java library. With VirtualViewer you have the ability to view multiple document and image formats, including IOCA, through a universal viewer.
• SnowBatch, our batch conversion application, provides you the capability to perform rapid batch conversion right from your desktop or server.  The easy-to-use interface will enable you to quickly convert all your IOCA files to formats suitable for viewing or storage.

What is IOCA

Image Object Content Architecture (IOCA) is the image layer used to hold generic form images.  These images are combined with formatted PTOCA data to provide context for the information. IOCA files can be single or multi-paged, and can act as a stand-alone image file or integrate with a MO:DCA file.

Important: As we all know document and image specifications are intentionally loosely written and rarely updated. As a result many applications create documents “incorrectly” and they do not adhere to the latest specifications.

If in the rare case you come across a problem or non-conforming document or image, we can often fix it.
